AWMA & Charis Bible Studies – Attendee Guidelines

As an attendee of an AWMA or Charis Bible Study, you’re joining a community devoted to spiritual growth, fellowship, and the life-changing teaching of God’s Word. To maintain a respectful, safe, and faith-filled environment, please review and agree to the following Attendee Guidelines and Agreement.

Purpose and Spirit

AWMA and Charis Bible Studies nurture discipleship and strengthen your relationship with God through approved Andrew  Wommack Ministries study guides and materials. As an attendee, you’re encouraged to grow in understanding, share insights, and support others in a way that honors God’s truth.

Respect and Courtesy

All discussions should be conducted with kindness, love, and respect. Every attendee is valued, and differing opinions should be handled with unity and humility. Engage in Christ-centered, edifying conversations, avoiding divisive, derogatory, or disruptive language or behaviour.

Personal Responsibility

You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and spiritual safety. Follow safety guidelines provided by the Leader and exercise discernment in participation. Respect the privacy of fellow attendees by keeping personal information or sensitive matters shared during sessions confidential.

Non-Commercial Environment

Maintain the voluntary, non-commercial nature of the group by refraining from promoting personal businesses, products, or services. Violation may result in removal from the group to ensure compliance with Australian Consumer Law and New Zealand regulations. Keep discussions focused on biblical truths and the practical application of God’s Word.

Media and Privacy

Photos, videos, or audio may be recorded during sessions for ministry purposes. You must indicate your consent preference (YES or NO) on the AWMA & Charis Bible Studies Notice, Release, and Waiver of Liability form. If you do not wish to be recorded, notify the Leader in advance and select “NO” on the form. Personal data and media recordings will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) in Australia and the Privacy Act 1993 in New Zealand. AWMA will protect your data and not share it without consent, except as required by law.

Commitment to the Group

Your engagement is a privilege. Participate actively, listen respectfully, and contribute to balanced, encouraging conversations. Leaders may guide discussions to ensure all voices are heard. Failure to abide by this Agreement may lead to a private discussion with the Leader. Persistent non-compliance may result in removal from the group, with written notice provided and an opportunity to appeal to the AWMA Director within 7 days.
